The Crutches 4 Kids Collection took place February 1-7, 2012. This year we collected 63 pairs of crutches, 3 wheelchairs, 12 walkers and 22 canes.

These will go to children in need around the world. Last year we were able to collect a record number of crutches (134 pair) and 20 canes. They were distributed to children in dire need of these devices. Help us again this year and give the gift of mobility to a child. Collection drop off sites will be at the Dobbs Ferry schools, however if you want to donate and cannot make any of these please contact us at [email protected]

Crutches 4 Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing
crutches to children in need around the world. There are many children in
low-income communities around the world that need crutches but do not
have access to them due to poverty or inadequate medical services that can
supply them with appropriate mobility devices. This injustice is intolerable!
By giving children the gift of mobility, we are enabling them to better live
independently and participate in their societies, thereby aiding their families
and local communities as well.
Not only does C4K bring hope to disadvantaged children in low-income
communities, but it also teaches children here in the U.S. about the value of
social service, recycling, and their ability to contribute positively to other
people’s lives.
We need your help! Plan a crutch drive or fundraiser in your community,
donate to C4K so we can expand our outreach to more children in need, and
spread the word! Visit our website www.crutches4kids.org to learn more
about how you can get involved.
How We Operate
C4K’s strategy is to build a sustainable global network of partners committed to providing crutches to disadvantaged disabled
children around the world. Because the need is so vast, no single organization can address the problem on its own. It takes a global
community of concerned individuals, schools, religious and civic groups, non-profits, companies, and international organizations
working in partnership together to bring as many crutches as possible to children in need. C4K was created to help facilitate the
donation of crutches from these groups to children who desperately need them. Join us today!
